It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet T. Sharp of Bangor, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on August 3, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Janet has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Rietsema and Albertha Rietsema (Steenwyk); her husband David R. Sharp; her son Thomas Sharp; and her sister Dorothy Winn.

She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Kern (Gib) of Cass City, MI, Brenda Kinney (David) of Lawton, MI, Valerie Marks (Jon) of Dowagiac, MI and Gwen Herremans (Louis) of Hart, MI. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and a niece.
