She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Stassek and Agnes Stassek (Sikora); her husband Casimir "Casey" Wiacek; her sons-in-law, Tom Bachman and Cliff Waite; and her siblings, Joanna Rose, Julia Mocklencate, Anna Ebertsch, Mary Sabo, Helen Gilbert, Stephen Stassek and John Stassek.
She is survived by: her friends, Carol, Kathy and Sue; her children, Carolyn Newcomb (Dave) of Central Lake, MI, Dianne Bachman of South Haven, Patti Waite of Central Lake and Chuck Wiacek of Bangor; her grandchildren, David Scott (Natalie), K. C. Hall (Scott), Michelle Bachman, Michael Brinks and Breanne Wiacek (Mike); her brother-in-law Floyd Rose; and also Jackie Hofbauer. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Al-Van Humane Society, or Caring Circle Hospice of South Haven.
