He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Pinney, and Betty "Jean" Pinney, Sr. (Murray); and his sisters, Sue Ann Carey and Sharon Leonard. He is survived by: his children, Kelly Ellis (James) of Bangor, Amanda Flohe of Savannah, GA and Michael Pinney of Kalkaska; his son-in-law Jim Flohe of Hilton Head, SC; his grandchildren, Caitlin Nystrom, Meagan Slater (Tom), Brennan Flohe, Winter Ellis, John Ellis (Lauren Doehass) and Olivia Ellis; his great grandchild Brooks Slater; and his friend Jennifer Warren. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Alba Sportsman's Club, Alba, MI.
