It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay Rockwell Degarmo (Bancroft, Michigan), born in Highland, Michigan, who passed away on January 16, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond DeGarmo and Mila DeGarmo (Munger); his wife Sally Lou Shafer; and his children, Leroy Jay DeGarmo and Pauline Grubb.
He is survived by: his children, Mila Sue DeGarmo of Wyoming, Dale DeGarmo (Martha) of Owosso, Gary DeGarmo (Sue) of Fife Lake, Raymond DeGarmo (Tina) of Bancroft and Linda DeGarmo of Owosso; and his son-in-law Donald Grubb of Perry. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
