With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jay R. Degamo (Bancroft, Michigan), born in Highland, Michigan, who passed away on January 16, 2020 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jay R. Degamo to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond DeGarmo and Mila DeGarmo (Munger); his wife Sally Lou Shafer; and his children, Leroy Jay DeGarmo and Pauline Grubb.
He is survived by: his children, Mila Sue DeGarmo of Wyoming, Dale DeGarmo (Martha) of Owosso, Gary DeGarmo (Sue) of Fife Lake, Raymond DeGarmo (Tina) of Bancroft and Linda DeGarmo of Owosso; and his son-in-law Donald Grubb of Perry. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions given in Mr. DeGarmo's name are suggested to Huntington's Disease Society of America or Meals on Wheels.
