Jerry E. Sitzer Obituary
We bid farewell to Jerry E. Sitzer of Baldwin, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 4, 2024 at the age of 71. Jerry touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Sitzer and Ethel Sitzer (Fosberg); and his siblings, Roger, Ron, Larry Sitzer and Shirley Derosha.
He is survived by: his close friend Pat Corbett; his nephews, Luke and Josh; his son-in-law Chris; his wife Karen Sitzer of Baldwin; his children, Erica Moore (Chris) of Grand Haven, Bridget Sitzer of Muskegon and Trever Andersen (Dawn Lawrence) of Roosevelt Park; his grandchildren, A. J., Brandon Ledyard, Kiersten, Brayden, Bryce Moore and Lauren Andersen; his siblings-in-law, Jeff Vollmer (Paula) and Cheryl Quebbeman (Jim); and his close friend Nancy Corbett.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 13th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, October 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A memorial service was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Hope Church (14932 Mercury Dr, Grand Haven, MI 49417).
