He is survived by: his parents, Innocent Mahirgwe and Aimee Nyamahoro; his sisters, Jolie Nyiwaninka, Merci Aimablee and Grace Mutoni; his children, Chanda Galvin (Chad), Vanessa Knauf (Ben) and Kevin VanLoon (Kelsy); and his grandparents, Charlene Bonter, Joy and Carl VanLoon. He is also survived by aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and many friends including special friend.
