She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Rice and Grace Rice (Knapp); her husband Gerald James; her grandson Kyle Sall; her son-in-law Terry Gates; and her brother Frank Rice.
She is survived by: her children, Joe James (Judy), Martha Sall (Kevin), Beth Gates and Rachel Coon (Ed); her grandchildren, Andy James, Kaleb Sall (Jessica), Grace Sall, Lydia Sall of James Sall, A. J, Chelsea Carll (Kourtney) and Aaron Coon; her brother Herb Rice (Ruth); and her siblings-in-law, Rose Ann Rice-Willenbrink, Ruth James, Lois James and Roger James. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
