Rita Booms Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Booms of Bad Axe, Michigan, who passed away on April 27, 2021 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Geiger and Lena Geiger; her husband Leonard Booms; her daughter Barbara; and her siblings, Emma Gentner, George Geiger, Leo Geiger, Norman Geiger, Clarence Geiger, Carolyn LeGault and Evelyn Kraft.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Booms (Pauline) of Ruth, Richard Booms (Connie) of Bad Axe, Sandy Stacer (Herb) of Rochester, Nancy Vogel (Frank) of Minden City, Janis Quint (Don) of Warren, Larry Booms (Sandy) of Ruth, Wally Booms (Carol) of Fraser, Cheryl Cole (Gene) of Carsonville, Jack Booms (Jean) of Kawkawlin, Glenn Booms (Lynda) of Bay City, Wayne Booms (Marjorie) of St. Louis, Tim Booms (Paula) of Haslett, Perry Booms (Jacki) of Geneva, OH and Terry Booms (Wendy) of Northville. She is also survived by 40 grandchildren, 82 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the St. Jude Children Hospital or to Derek Pfaff's Recovery Fund.
