It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael W. Cowles of Bad Axe, Michigan, who passed away on May 6, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas E. Cowles and Annie Cowles (Pletch); and his sister Sally Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Kathy (Clark); his daughter Michelle Cowles Hughes (Jim); his grandchildren, Whit, Preston and Annika; and his brother-in-law James Johnson. He is also survived by niece and nephews.
