She was predeceased by: her grandsons, Ryan Maurer and Patrick Sweeney; her siblings, Elizabeth Landra (Alvin), Rita Ostrander (Robert), Theresa Durrand (Victor), Clarence Hessling and Charles Hessling (Janet); and her siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Geiger (Clement), Mary Gentner (Bernard), Irene Holdwick (Robert), Harley Burkhard, William Volmering (Anna), Vincent Volmering (Alvina), Alexander Volmering (Theresa) and Cornelius Volmering (Evelyn).

She is survived by: her spouse Aloysius "Al" Volmering; her children, Judy Miller, Joyce Kulish (John) of South Lyon, Joanne Maurer (Mark) of Bad Axe, Earl Volmering (Molli) of Cass City, Gary Volmering (Karen) of Ruth and Herbert Volmering (Marian) of Howell; her grandchildren, Rene, Popour, Eric Klebba (Jeanna), Jennifer Jarvis (Mike), John, Jeremy Maurer (Nikki), Liza Zulauf (Jeff), Evan, Anthony, Jason Volmering, Cheryl Scott (Michael), Amy Polega, Jason Polega and Sara Santos (Chad); her sisters, Angeline Burkhard of Bad Axe, Rosemary Sherman of Bad Axe, Audrey Wolschlager (Kenneth) of Bad Axe and Beatrice Guigar (Dan) of Bad Axe; her sister-in-law Margaret Hessling of Livonia; and also, Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
