He was predeceased by: his parent Anthony Kociba; his children, Ron Koceba and Judyann Koceba; his siblings, Ed Koceba (Leona), Herman Kociba (Helen), Gertie Dudek (Bill), Irene Costello (Frank) and Mary Prichett (Joe); and his stepsisters, Bertha Schmelzer (Jack), Tillie Marenick (Joe), Bill Susalla (Martha), Art Susalla (Marie), Paul Skipinski (Theresa), Frank Talaski (Eleanor), Gordon Eden (Irene), Eugene Gorkowski (Aggie), Clarence Kubacki and Jake Susalla.

He is survived by: his parent Theresa Kociba (Danielski); his wife Frances "Fran"; his daughters, Merry Mankin (Chris) of Maryland and Sandy Koceba of Bad Axe; his grandsons, Fred Koceba (Kerrie) of Port Austin, Adam Mankin of Colorado and Tyler Mankin of Maryland; and his great grandchildren, Ronne Koceba of Port Austin, Tahya Ferris of Port Austin, Kellie Ferris of Port Austin, Herb Vogel (Pat), Bea Kubacki and Evelyn Susalla. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
