Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Hisako Champagne of Bad Axe, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 88, on September 12, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Junichiro Shirai and Misa Shirai; her husband Peter Champagne; her children, John and Susan; and her sister-in-law Keiko.
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Bouck (Don); her grandchildren, Brandon (Lisa), Wes (Tracy), Jake, Ryan (Christine), Robin (Chris) and Heather (Jason); her great grandchildren, Tobyn, Emma, Ayden, Brady, Bryce, Hunter, Remmington, Quinton and Hisako; her brothers, Takinori Shirai of Yokohama, Takeshi Shirai (Cathy) of Anderson, IN and Hideo Shirai of Yokohama; and her children-in-law, Cindy Champagne and Ron Landenberg (Gerilyn). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or American Cancer Society.
