He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Richards and Hazel Richards (Guthrie). He is survived by: his wife Mary Kay Richards of Bad Axe; his daughters, Valerie Kneffel (Mark) of Ubly and Jennifer Gilmore of Phoenix, AZ; his grandsons, Ja'Coby Gilmore of Phoenix, AZ and Otis Kneffel of Ubly; his sister Nancy Kingsley (Ted) of Dimondale; his sister-in-law Barbara George of Greenville, NC; and his nieces and nephews, Gary (Brinda Ridenour), Troy Ridenour of Ft. Myers, FL, Jody Root of Charlotte, Dawn (Jeff Wendorf), Monica Murray of Lansing, Jeremy (Amy Nierecberger), Timothy Clark of Windermere, FL, Joanna (Marcus Waller), Nicholas (Angela George) and Christopher (Daryl George). He is also survived by his daughters and grandsons.
