It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Elwin Cubitt of Bad Axe, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 79, on January 5, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid Elwin farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Elwin is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Cubitt and Vera Cubitt (Kenny); his daughter Julie; and his brothers, Dale and Eugene.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Katie Larzelere of Brighton, MI. and Dave Cubitt (Sue) of Shelby Twp; and his siblings, Shirley Garrity of Bath Twp, Sharon Heck of Whittier, California, Duane Cubitt (Doralyn) of Bad Axe and Janie Ridner (Dave) of Grayling. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bad Axe First United Methodist Church (216 E Woodworth St, Bad Axe, MI 48413).
