Darlene H. Heilig Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darlene H. Heilig of Bad Axe, Michigan, who passed away on May 22, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Lerash and Martha Lerash (Byarski); her husband Harold L. Heilig; her cousin Diane Bodner; her stepgranddaughter Darcy Jimpkoski; her son-in-law Dennis Jimpkoski; and her brothers-in-law, Paul, Clarence, Marcus, Ralph, Benjamin, Bernard, William and Nicholas Heilig.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Cathy Jimpkoski (James Korleski) of Kinde, Jeff Heilig (Brenda) of Port Austin, Harold Heilig (Brenda) of Irons, Dawn Ventline (Dave) of Port Austin, Steven Heilig of Bad Axe and Nicholas Heilig (Rebecca Russell) of Ubly; her stepgrandchildren, Deana Jimpkoski, Amanda Jimpkoski, Nicole Licavoli, Kristle Reinke, Harold Heilig, Tricia Josoff, Holly Heilig, Bradley Ventline, Kayla Campbell, Dustin Heilig, Cassandra Heilig, William Heilig, Bethany Heilig, Caydian Heilig, Emerald Brinkman and Landon Heilig; her siblings-in-law, Wilford Heilig, Gerald Heilig and Lucille Hintz; and her grandchildren, Harris, Gertrude Cerveny, Catherine Stewart, Geneiveve Mithoff, Margaret Peyok, Beatrice Drake, Winifred Sageman, Jeanette Heilig and Regina Koglin. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Darlene's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, as this was a charity close to her heart.
