He was loved and cherished by many people including: his niece Dr. Heidi Ventline Davis; his father-in-law Roland Henne; his parents, Harold Cubitt and Vera Cubitt; his wife Lynn; his children, Alicia Kubacki (Craig) of Bay City, MI, Kevin Cubitt of St Clair Shores, Michelle Cubitt of Bad Axe, Tamala Hubbard and Geoffrey Cubitt (Kate) of Winnetka, IL.; his stepchildren, David Craig (Teresa) of Holland and Dianne Aymer of Sacrament, CA.; his grandson Brad Craig (Katy); his great grandchild Angela McLeod (Trevor); his siblings, Duane Cubitt (Doralynn) of Bad Axe, Elwin Cubitt (Joan) of Filion, Shirley Garrity of Bath, Sharron Heck of Whittier, Janie Ridner (David) and Jane Cubitt; his former wife Marilyn; his brother Eugene; and also, Macy Crizer (Steve), Courtny Sarka, Drake Sarka, Connor Hubbard, Owen Cubitt, Chloe Kubacki, Andrew Cubitt and Claire Kubacki.
