He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaston Mestack and Raymonde Mestack. He is survived by: his wife Margo; his sons, Jeffrey (Tammie Teton) and James (Charlene); his grandchildren, Ashkia Campbell (Ed), Cory, Bryan and Stephanie; and his great grandchild Vexley Campbell.

The family requests that donations/ memorials in his name be made to Bad Axe Public School Band department to aid in providing instruments to students.
