He is survived by: his wife Doe Dee Atkinson (Bennett); his children, Roger Atkinson Jr. (Jeannette Fontenot) and Angela Atkinson; his grandchildren, Rodney, Vicky Ward, Robert, Angelina Ward, Karlee Ward (Parker), Ashlynn, Tyler Mueller, Daniel Marsh, Derek, Taylor, Matt and Chris Castro; his great grandchildren, Zoey, Janella, Lilli, Jack, Koa, Emma and Ryker; and his sisters, Joyce Miller and Marge Garcia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
