He was predeceased by: his daughter Amanda Cook; his parents, Robert Cook and Mary "Jean" Cook; his brother John Cook; and his former wife Dr. Carol Nowakowski.
He is survived by: his wife Shelia Cook; his daughters, Tina Surgener, Amber Berger (Dave), Holly Hendershot (Daniel) and Shannon McClain (Demar); his siblings, Theresa Ronan (Jeff), Tim Cook (Kathy), Pat Kramer, Kris Williams and Lisa Lee (Sonny); and his grandchildren, Ryleigh, Jody (Katelin), Graysen, Allysse, Teagan, Lana, Ashlynn, Olivea, Colin, Jachai and Adrien.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Christopher Catholic Church (1000 Michigan Ave, Marysville, MI 48040). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
