It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Frederick Stapleton of Avoca, Michigan, who passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Stapleton and H. Maude Stapleton; and his sisters, Maureen Stapleton Flores and Judy Fraas (Charles). He is survived by: his wife Darlene (Martin); and his children, Maureen Rumpel (Doug) of Albany, Maria Nichols (Rob) of Port Huron, Michael Stapleton (Genine), Martin (Renée) of Hillsboro and Jimmy Stapleton (Renee) of Avoca. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, five great-grandchildren as well as many relatives and friends.
