He was predeceased by: his parents, Van V. Young and Hazel A. Young (Klaus); and his siblings, Al Young, Mary Smith, Craig Young, Tex Young, Gil Young, Cherle Young and Vanhazle "Pidge" Wolfersberger.
He is survived by: his wife Sonya Gukis; his son Ronald Young, Jr. (Michelle); his granddaughters, Heather Flanders (Zach) and Hannah Young (Tyler Steve); his great grandchildren, Wesson and Savannah; his brother Dennis Young (Judy); and his brother-in-law Russ Wolfersberger. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
