She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Knoll and Bonnie Knoll (Berkimer); her sister Elaine VanSyckle; and her children-in-law, Susan DeLano and Steve Fierke.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Vale; her children, Steve DeLano, Sallie Miller (Mike), Peggy Iler (Jeff), Teresa Moss (Tim) and Nancy Fierke; her grandchildren, Kim Higdon (Brandon), Christopher Miller, Lauren Miller, Brad Iler (April), Brandi Roberts (Cole), Bret Moss (Kerri), Kurt Moss (Stephanie), Jaime Gary (Jeramiah) and Joe Fierke (Nikota); her sister Katherine Craven; and her stepsons, Dan, Bill, Dave and Tom. She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren.
