Age 76, of Augusta, passed away on January 1, 2025, at her home surrounded by loved ones. Linda was born in Kalamazoo on October 28, 1948, the daughter of the late Cecil and Helen (Courtney) Crummel. Linda was loving, kind and generous. The love of the Lord was the foundation of her life, and she leaves behind the legacy of a life well lived. She was currently attending Lighthouse Baptist Church. She worked hard to provide a happy home where all were made to feel welcome. Linda had a heart for knowledge and loved teaching God's word to others. She was especially proud to be able to teach children's ministries on Sunday mornings; a passion she passed on to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed volunteering at church and found many ways to be a servant of Christ. Linda was a fantastic cook and baker and a meal at her house was seldom missed. She also enjoyed a good garage sale and finding that special "deal". Above all Linda loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her warm smile, laughter and kindness will be missed by all who loved her. On July 25, 1967, she married the love of her life Henry L. Bolhuis Jr. who survives. Together they enjoyed 57 years together. She is also survived by three children, Tammy (Kris) Lash, Tom (Jill) Bolhuis, Bev (Chuck) Black; many grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; siblings, Carol Lenfield and Eugene (Jenine) Crummel; sister-in-law, Betty Crummel; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was also preceded in passing by a son, Henry Bolhuis III; siblings, Beverly Crummel and Cecil Crummel; brother-in-law, Terry Lenfield.
