With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Crockett Wharton III (Augusta, Michigan), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on July 7, 2019 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Sharon. He is survived by: his spouse Treasa D. Latta; his children, DeAnn Lark (Treagie), Noshia Wharton and Jody Wharton; his stepsons, Todd Latta, Rod Hinton (Jennifer) and Joseph Lockmiller; his sister Dowanna Clareet (Sonny); and his stepsiblings, Doris Brown, Darlene Joyner, Marlene Wilcher, Timmy Wharton and Tommy Wharton. He is also survived by thirty five grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
