He is survived by: his wife Elaine Potgiesser (Heighton); his daughter Cheri Powell; his grandsons, Elijah Merritt and Rayce Henagan; his daughters, Michelle Powell, Laura Corneail and Lisa Owens Lloyd; and his sisters, Betty Lehman, Paulah Nordahl and Peggy Boyd. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
