Bruce R. Buddemeier Obituary

A committal service with full military honors will take place at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 10:30 AM. Those planning to attend the service should plan to arrive at the cemetery by 10:15 AM and meet in the funeral assembly area. Memorial contributions may be made to Miracle Meadows Horse Ranch, located at 3604 Chase Rd., Adrian, MI 49221.

Age 66, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023. Bruce was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on September 25, 1956, the son of the late Robert R. and Doris A. (Marsh) Buddemeier. He was a graduate of Kalamazoo Central High School, class of 1975. Upon graduation from high school, Bruce enlisted in the United States Coast Guard and served his country honorably until 1979. He was a long-time employee of L.C. Howard as a truck driver. Bruce loved horses and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He is survived by his children, William "BJ" (Kaley) Buddemeier, Anthony (Samantha) Buddemeier and Faith Vlietstra; 12 grandchildren; brother, Ronald (Susanna) Buddemeier; sister, Robyn White; niece, Michell (Kendrick) Atkins; and nephews, William Douglas Buddemeier and Richard (Shanuelle) Buddemeier.
