He was predeceased by: his parents, Seth J. Standley and Lenna C. Standley (Brooks); his wife Hazel Edmonds Newkirk; his siblings, Blanche Rice, Verna Chittick and Albert Standley; and his great grandchild Trecia Standley.
He is survived by: his children, Judy K. Bradley (Charles) of Augusta, James Standley (Janice) of Climax, MI and John Standley (MariLee) of LaFayette, GA. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; a sister.
