He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Johnson; his stepparents, Thelma Johnson and Clifton Dann; his brothers, Victor Johnson and David Johnson; and his son-in-law Donny Goodson.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Eldridge (Thomas), Tina Leroy (Joseph), Tracy Goodson and Richard Johnson (Linda); his grandchildren, Amanda Roth (Matt), Miriam Young (George Gordon), Casey Green (Clyde), Aaron Young, Desiree Lantz (Brandon), Justin Johnson (Jaida), Brent Johnson, Chad Johnson and Mackenzie Johnson; his great grandchildren, Zyrah Baugh, Kuyler Young, Xavier Young, Serenity Lantz, Emilia Lantz, Gabrielle Gordon, Jamison Gordon, Broc Leroy, Layla Johnson and Serena Johnson; and his close friend John Platte. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. For those desiring memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans in memory of Alvin.
