She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arthur Schmidt and Laura Schmidt (Vogel); her children, Lori Ruthruff (late Mark), Todd (Denise Gray), Ned (Cathy Gray) and Dean Gray; her grandchildren, Dana (Kyle Stinnett), Jack (Mackenzie Ruthruff), Emily Gray (Zac Skinner), Jennie (Bill Thick) and Katie Freehling; her great grandchildren, Arlen, Kirklyn, Ruthruff, Brock, Kaylee, Skylar, Avery, Levi, Fenton and Carson; her sister Dolores Guettler (John); her sisters-in-law, Hazel Kish, Marion Gray, Rita Gray and Sharon Hignite; her husband Leslie Gray; and her brothers, Ira Schmidt (Anne), Edward Gray, Francis (Eleanor Gray), Albert (Gertrude Gray), Charles Gray, James (Jayne Gray), Harry Gray and Robert Gray (Ernest Kish). She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
