He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Sr. Peterson and Nita Peterson (Jablonski); and his brother Christopher Peterson. He is survived by: his son Raymond Beck Jr.; his granddaughter Annabelle; and his siblings, Melvin (Ruth Peterson Jr.), Stephen Peterson Sr., Yvonne (Butch Williams) and Catherine (Billie Laird). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
