It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Elaine Borchardt of Auburn, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on January 20, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, LeVern McGhan and Florence McGhan (Meggison); and her brother Clare McGhan. She is survived by: her husband Robert J. Borchardt; her daughters, Marsha Kowalsky (Mark) and Karin Fochtman (Dan); her grandchildren, Meredith Sievers (Blake), Melissa Coberley (Dave), Matthew Kowalsky, Katie Waibel (Tyler) and Andrew Sylvester (Karissa); and her great grandchildren, Isabelle, Samantha Sievers, Kaitlin Coberley, Olivia, Austin and Layla Waibel.
