He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Dougherty and Rose Dougherty (Duffy); his brother Bernie Dougherty (Kathy); his siblings-in-law, Jerry Miller, Les Fordos, William Cronin, James Cronin, Marge Cronin and Virginia Dougherty; his nephew Jerry Norris; his parents-in-law, William and Bernice Cronin; and his stepfather Ralph Schultz.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Cronin of Mary's Cathedral; his children, Bill, John, Jim (Beth) and Joy D'Alessandro (Chris); his grandchildren, Krystal, Tiffany O'Berski (Brennen), Courtney (Ryan Schoenrock), Bailey, Sean, Erin, Meagan, Carly Wieland (Brady) and Lilly D'Allessandro; his great grandchildren, Owen and Adaline; his siblings, Pat Dougherty (Pat), Jane Fordos, Mary Miller, Tom Dougherty (Shirley), Helen Gath (Ken) and Margaret Starke (Gerald); and his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Norris (Jerry), Linda Cronin (Dunsmore) and Mary Cronin.
