He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Helmreich; and his grandparents, Delos, Clara Marsh, Martin and Elsie Helmreich.

He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Kujawa (Marsh); and his stepparents, Richard Kujawa and Marie Gentner Helmreich. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
