He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Wegener and Edna Wegener (Bauer); his parents-in-law, Otto and Gertrude Helmreich; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Sendtko and Sharon Helmreich.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his daughters, Patsy Weiss (Randy) and Shelly Pomaville; his grandchildren, Joshua Krueger (Nicole), Ryan Weiss (Olivia) and Kenzie Pomaville; his great grandchildren, Tyler Day, Nora Krueger and Baby Weiss; and his siblings, Gordie Wegener (Mary), Lonnie Hensler (Bob) and Leandra Sendtko. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (5545 S 8 Mile Rd, Bay City, MI 48706). A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at the Home Cemetery.
