He is survived by: his wife Shirley Evans; his children, Ruenette D. Evans of Ferndale, MI, Reuben O. Evans, Jr. of Pontiac, MI, Jennifer A. Evans of Pontiac, MI and Adrian A. Evans of Pontiac, MI; his grandchildren, Danny Johnson and Traytorian A. MaGee; his siblings, Emmanuel Evans (Evelyn), Elvaray M. Jones, Elaine Evans-Echols (Mattie) and Curtis Evans; his niece Evelyn Jones (Jimmy); and his brother-in-law Billy O. Hurst.
