He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Daniel Martin (Mignon) of Grass Valley, Heidi Martin-Lobel (Jonathan) of California and Heather Lobel (Gary) of West Bloomfield, Michigan; his grandchildren, Brendon Martin, Nicole Martin, Rachel Martin, Brady Martin, McKenzie Martin, Ian Cox, Nicholas Martin and Ilanah Lobel-Torres; his great grandchild Noah; and his parents, Francis Martin and Lillian Martin (Lakari). He was also cherished by several uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, of which Dr. Martin had lent his expertise.
