We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2025, at the age of 73, Marita Ann Schmidt of Auburn Hills, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Darrel Schmidt; her parents, Raymond Mulherin and Bernice Mulherin; and her brothers, Robert Mulherin and Raymond Mulherin, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Jessika Brown (Stephen) and Trevor Schmidt (Abbey); her stepchildren, Cathryn Schmidt and Mark Schmidt (Donna); her grandchildren, Jillian, Benjamin, Garrett and Natalie; and her siblings, Elaine Arnold (late Larry), Carolyn Roberg (Jim), Loren Mulherin and Marlene Dusil (Ron). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Gilda's Club Metro Detroit and Karmanos Cancer Institute.
