She was predeceased by: her father Raymond Tribble; her husbands, James Crook and Leroy "Ben" Valley; and her children, James Crook Jr., Pam Maybee (late Chuck) and Denise Maybee (late Kevin).

She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Maggard (late Jessie), Deborah Eubanks (Jack), Marcia Kulig (Mike), Darlene Crook and Penny McMurray (James); and her sister Dolores Carscadden (Hugh). She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, thirty-six great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.
