He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Louis and Leona Peterson (Dallman); his wife Marian Tarnosky; his brothers, Donald, Marvin and LeRoy; and his son-in-law Randy Farver.
He is survived by: his children, Louis Peterson, Linda Johnson (Lee), Tricia Farver, Robert Peterson (Sherry) and David Peterson (Christina); and his sister-in-law Marjorie Peterson. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
