He was predeceased by: his former wife Toshie Y. Davis; and his siblings, David Davis, Leslie Davis, Norman Davis, Rosie Chittle and Elsie Graninger.

He is survived by: his wife Elaine Marie Seiferlein (Bitterman).

“Mr. Davis was a friend of my father when both were stationed in Germany. He stood by my family when my father was court martialed and busted in rank for DUI which resulted in fatalities. My Dad had a Japanese wife (my mother) just like Mr. Davis and my Mom and Toshie Davis were good friends. Mr. Davis was a very good man and helped look after me and my 3 brothers and sister after what my Dad did. I thought of him often over the years and did Internet searches and sad to discover this obit.”
