He is survived by: his significant other Betty Jane Cartlidge; his children, Michael Brumfield (Charlene), Penny (Bruce), Steven Brumfield, David Brumfield (Debra), Tom Brumfield (Debra) and Judy Scherrer; and his sister Ruth Ann Phifer. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
