He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Laakso and Elizabeth Laakso (Burke); and his brother Arvo Laakso. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Myers; and his siblings, Linda Williams (Ronald), Allen Laakso, Diane Groulx (Brad), Harold Laakso (Traci), Carol Teeters (Greg) and Darren Laakso (Sheri).
