It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ruth Carter (Attica, Michigan), born in Sandusky, Michigan, who passed away on November 19, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Schell and Lydia Schell (Helzer); her husband George W. Carter; her son Lynn Carter; her grandson Jason; and her siblings, Reed, Daniel and Rosemary Schell.
She is survived by: her children, Randall Carter of Birch Run, Karen Houser of Attica, Pamela Peake of Swartz Creek and Tim Carter (Denise) of Attica; and her grandchildren, Mandee, Leigh, Deanna, Tina, Neil, Audree, George and Jessee. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
