He is survived by: his children, Paul Michelson of Maple Valley, WA, Carl Michelson (Lisa) of Lapeer and Laura Michelson of Attica; his grandchildren, Amber Atwood (Josh), Lindsay Belsha (Joe), Jordan Detwiller-Michelson (Janae), Adam Michelson (Rebecca) and Katie Bannworth (Patrick); his great grandchildren, Zarah, Hank, Azelle, Judah, Tyler, Aaron, Isaac, Charlotte, Soren, Levi and Walker; and his brother Col. Helmut Michelson.
