He was predeceased by: his mother Camille Nerkowski (Olewnik). He is survived by: his father Victor Nerkowski; his children, John, Luke, Joey and Lydia; his sister Paula Berenkowski (Mike); his nephews, Jonas and Ben; and the mother of his children Michelle. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Inurnment: Holy Cross Cemetery, In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his family for his children's education.
