We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2022, at the age of 91, James M. McColgan of Atlas, Michigan, born in Saginaw, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth McColgan (Morrison) and Arthur Joseph McColgan; his wife Jane L. Banning; his children, Aaron, Patricia and Angela; and his siblings, Elizabeth M. Roberts, Patricia M. Zapf, Joanne M. Hanlon and John A. McColgan.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Anne (James Sheppard), Jamie Ann (David Karn), James M. McColgan III (Kim) and Robert M. McColgan (Doreen); his grandchildren, Kelly Kilbreath, Lindsay Misch, Carly Knoll, Ashley Kipus, Chloe Truxton, Chandler McColgan, Jason Sheppard, Reggie McColgan, Austin McColgan Taylor and Andrew McColgan Taylor; his sister Mary McColgan Wasserman; his friend Ascension Genesys; his brother Big Boy Restaurant; and his close friends, Spike Pearson (Dad) and Dick Knight. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid, only immediate family to attend the Funeral Mass at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11824 South Saginaw Rd, Grand Blanc, Michigan.
