He was predeceased by: his parents, William Korpi (Bill) and Ellen Korpi (Ojala); his wife Nancy Korpi (Somero) of Ithaca, NY; his parents-in-law, Wilbert and Mildred Somero; his siblings-in-law, Maria Somero, Matthew Somero (Mick) and Richard Somero; and his great grandchild Dahlia Rose.
He is survived by: his siblings, Judi Somero and Brian Korpi (Evelyn); his sister-in-law Patti Kaczor (Alan); and his children, Lisa Storm (Thomas), Kristen Jankowski (Michael), Mark Korpi (Sally), Jennifer Valitalo (Michael), Carolyn Williams (James), Loren Korpi, Keith Korpi (Medina) and Priscilla De Lisle (Daniel). He is also survived by 22 Grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family suggests memorial contributions be given to Zion Lutheran Church, 400 Ingot St., Hancock, MI 49930 in memory of Larry Korpi.
