He is survived by: his wife Estelle Karpinen; his children, Craig Podner (Deb) and Cathy Peterson (Michael) of Tapiola; his granddaughter Elisha of Pewaukee, WI; his great grandchildren, Joseph, Daniel and Jessica; his great great grandchild Connie His (Faye Bennett) of Calumet Faye; his niece Joy Riutta; and his nephew Raymond Fox. He is also survived by children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
