He was predeceased by: his parents, John Scarlett and Edna Scarlett (Holladay); and his siblings, Lafe Scarlett, Helen Redburn and Fred, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Ann Keranen; his daughters, Lisa Scarlett-Steeneck (Wade) of Beresford and Susan Rogers (Scarlett) of Hardwick, MN; his grandchildren, Laura Steeneck, Nicholas and Matthew Rogers; and his siblings, Norma Scarlett-Heckman (Errol) of East Peru, Harold Scarlett of Anita and Mildred Sparling of Tucson.
